Davey's back for a week or so - all the way from London - for some quality time with Maxie and Rod and as much time with the rest of the family as we can manage.
Despite his jetlag he came up smiling for a family get together on Sunday. Ella and Abi celebrated the occasion by making us a batch of lamingtons. We all agreed they were amazin'!!!
The presents from London were a big hit - and a perfect fit (thank you Cath)!
We had a long lunch together today - at the National Capital Brewery - a popular choice with its background of aromatic brewing vats, and canning in full swing today. The Brodburger burgers were a huge hit too.
The best bit was that darling Maxie was able to enjoy the outing too - only 5 days out of her last chemo day, but looking super stylish and able to enjoy these happy days with Davey here.
