It was a rather special big birthday for Jennie today and we were able to celebrate it with her in a very special way.
The surrounding trees are getting so tall it's getting harder to get an open view of that beautiful Pacific Ocean - but there are still big flocks of lorikeets and kookaburras flying in amongst the trees, keeping us distracted from the view anyway .......
We had lunch at the River Restaurant Moruya - a new favourite of ours; classic French Bistro in style, wonderful food flavours, carefully prepared dishes, and in a beautiful setting on the edge of the Moruya River.
We were so thrilled that darling Maxie and Rod were able to be there today too.
Judy had baked a cake (carrot pineapple and macadamia with loads of preserved ginger YUM!) for the birthday girl.
No trouble at all for this amazing inspiring woman to blow out those candles!
Happy birthday dear Wonder Woman Jennie! We were so lucky to share your birthday with you today.
Judy and Jurgen hosted pre lunch drinks (Majella of course) for us all on the verandah at their beautiful Rosedale house.
We were so thrilled that darling Maxie and Rod were able to be there today too.
